Ronak Batra is an Associate Consultant with ThreeFish Consulting where his work focus is application of Hogan Assessments for employee selection as well as conducting applied research.
He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies with specialization in organizational behavior from MDI Gurgaon. His areas of expertise include leadership, organizational development and knowledge management. His doctoral research explores employee performance variables as predictors of empowering leadership styles at work. During his tenure as a Teaching Assistant at MDI, Ronak designed assessment instruments for measuring learning and retention abilities. Prior to this, Ronak completed his master’s degree in English Literature from University of Delhi where he was college level Gold Medallist .
Ronak brings with him proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods and a passion for research. Some of his earlier work has been published as book chapters and case studies. His book chapter titled “Bhagvad Gita Approach to Stress Mitigation and Holistic Well-Being” (2018) was published by Springer International Publishing and his case study titled “Tata Steel: The Acquisition of Corus” (2017) was published by Ivey Publishing. The case study is used for teaching theories of change management and focuses on importance of culture integration during mergers and acquisitions. As of date, the case study has been used at IIMs, Oxford University and at Goldman Sachs for leadership development.
